I’ll be writing a proper goodbye to Kevin Garnett’s amazing career later on. Today, let’s just sit and appreciate a guy who revolutionized the NBA and what a big man could do on the floor. Let’s appreciate the man whose arrival in Boston ushered in the necessary culture change that brought us Banner 17.

Thanks for everything, KG. You are a true giant of the game.

    So many great memories of KG in green. Never saw a guy so psyched to play basketball. KG, Duncan, & Kobe= one helluva HOF class.

    Thank you KG, you will always be my idol and have been such a big influence in my life and never changed who you were in what made you great. Too many thank you’s for you including the 08 chip and many unforgettable memories that will last forever.

    Unfortunately all things must come to an end. One of my favorite players to ever wear Celtics green. So glad he’s retiring with class & dignity, without a “farewell tour” like certain players embarrass themselves with. KG never needed any crutch to boost his ego. He was the Ultimate Competitor and players like him come around once in a lifetime!
