The whole rollercoaster of the past day was fun, but the ending was FANTASTIC!

    Dream on, man, dream on. We can all dream all we want till KD’s decision is official. To me KD in Boston is getting more realistic next year with some mid season moves and OKC’s failure but it’s all up in the air. That’s why we’re all dreaming some of us secretly. 🙂

      I agree. I don’t think Danny’s pitch was just for this year. I’m willing to bet their whole thinking is that if they can’t get him this year, they can get him next year.
      
      The C’s had space for 2 max contracts this year. They’ve just used one slot. Even if they opt into Jerebko and Amir’s deals, those come off the books next year. Sully can be re-signed and then traded. Considering that people paid top dollar for Mozgov and Solomon Hill, you can bet there’ll be takers for Sully. Also, the cap is going up even further next year (by as much as 16 million depending on which estimate you use) so it’s not like it’s over for the KD-Boston train if he decides to stick to OKC for another year.

Damn, nice one. Although I’m pretty sure it’d take another star to convince KD but you never know. I still think KD is staying in OKC for one last ride. I not sure whether he wants more of the same story next year or is he just going to take full max next year from OKC. Guess it depends on many, many factors we’re unable to predict right now.

  I dare say that considering salary cap issues, the Celtics with KD are better than ANY other team he could sign with for a max contract

    Most likely not only looking at salary cap. All the assets they have, young core, Stevens, playoff runs, record. There are a lot of factors favoring Boston. But it’s us who consider all of that more positive way cuz we want certain things to happen and we say it rational for KD to come here basketball wise but we don’t know what he really thinks and that’s crucial.

Just a great signing for the C’s, Horford is a very good player. Great thing is that he chose to become a Celtic!

I’ve been pushing for Biyombo as a backup and spot starter, come to see Orlando loves him more than anyone could with 18 million a year, whaoooo.
