Phoenix’s Shavlik Randolph has been traded to Boston, with Reggie Bullock to Phoenix, Austin Rivers to Clippers, league sources tell RealGM.

Shavlik Randolph played 16 games in green during the 2012-13 season. But there’s a strong chance he’s gone faster than you can shout “Nate Robinson.”

One question… where’s our 2nd round draft pick?

UPDATE: The Celtics will also receive Chris Douglas-Roberts and the Clippers 2017 2nd round pick.

I see the rebuilding has begun. Shavlik Randolph is the paint presence we need. Our return to glory is almost complete.

  I feel like we should keep him. He can’t be expensive and we’ve only got 4 total bigs don’t we? What happens if 1 gets traded or injured?

    He’s on the final year of his contract. It’d actually be nice to keep him on the bench, but he isn’t that effective. He also had several injuries, but since he’s been through Phoenix we have to assume that he will rise up with his new adamantium-mithril allow skeleton and dominate.

    Don’t forget Bass is on his way out so it’d nice to keep Randolph unless we get someone “better” for Bass (highly doubtful).

      I was just thinking about how effective Shav might actually be with Bass’s minutes. Bass is great, but we have a big strong, short guy who costs far less.

I agree to the utmost with the “get Dieng from Minny” comment. Danny should have drafted him. In 08 I laughed at the ESPN experts who almost all picked the Lakers. I knew we were going to win because that team had great D. That is also why I was never to high on Kevin Love. I want a team that gets stops.
